*Warning: There are spoilers for Week 3 of The Bachelorette in this post!*
We are three weeks into this season of The Bachelorette, and we have a season villain, less than 20 men left, and accusations of people being here for the wrong reasons. I wouldn't expect anything less.
I loved the dates this week! They were all so cute, especially the Barbie group date with Jojo and Jordan. I seriously wonder how many of these men knew they were meeting Aaron Rodgers' brother who found love on Jojo's season of The Bachelorette. The baseball date with Brayden was super cute, and I loved how Charity knew that the date would mean a lot to him because he grew up watching the Padres and going to games with his family, and I just thought that level of intention and care is just so sweet. I loved the amusement park date too, and I wish it would have been better for Charity, but I also understand Warwick not having all of the energy needed to be at an amusement park at night.
It's very interesting how Brayden is being made into a villain when everyone has acknowledged that Brayden is younger and not as mature, which I think is definitely a part of not feeling and seeing that he's taking this journey seriously like the rest of the men. I think the way that Brayden is promising Charity to try and be open to the process but saying that he doesn't want to get engaged to someone who's dated 20 of his friends and that he doesn't think he could get engaged at all is not showing that he is actually open to this. I do understand not wanting to get engaged at the end; cue the infamous Peter from Rachel's season of The Bachelorette as exhibit A. I'm not really sure if he's "here for the wrong reasons," but he's definitely not being open to the process and what it entails. I'm starting to get annoyed with him as I see him more, and I'm hoping all of this drama ends soon.
I think Sean taking Charity away first at the cocktail party of the group date after winning one-on-one time with her for his performance at the Barbie concert was cocky. I think it's definitely a way to show Charity you care for her, but at the end of the day, there were 11 other men on this date, which means some of them aren't getting time with her. If it were you, you'd be upset too, so don't be annoying.
The one-on-one with Warwick was really disappointing. The date itself was just painful to watch from Charity's perspective, and it's really odd how we didn't know basically anything about him or even heard him speak before the date. I thought the guys at first were being super judgmental about Charity's choice for the one-on-one, but after watching the date, I understood what they meant.
I'm still strongly Team Joey over here! I'm really hoping to see more of him soon aka I'm hoping he gets a one-on-one sooner rather than later. I also still like Aaron B. even though he's causing some drama next week based on the previews. I can't wait to see what's in store for next week!
