*Warning: There are spoilers to Week 4 of The Bachelorette in this post!*
It was quite impossible to believe we are at the end of four weeks of The Bachelorette and only have six men left. I honestly didn't realize that this season was going to be shorter, but I guess it now makes sense with Bachelor in Paradise coming up and the premiere of The Golden Bachelor in the fall. There were less men at the beginning than normal though; Charity started with 20 men when there have been 30-plus men on night one in the past few seasons.
I honestly was surprised at how anti-climatic Brayden's exit from this season was. I thought it was going to be drawn out more, but I'm glad that it happened when it did. He was starting to rub me the wrong way when he started taking things, like Aaron's comments, very personally and just insulting people because they didn't have as strong of a connection with Charity as he did. It seemed like he thought their connections with her were a joke because they weren't as strong as theirs, and that felt icky. Brayden's re-entrance at the cocktail party was kind of odd, but I did appreciate that he wasn't trying to get back on the season. I thought Aaron's reactions at this, while valid, were a little over the top. He didn't have the full context though, so I have mixed feelings about this.
I am so glad Joey got the group date rose! I like him a lot, and I hope he gets a one-on-one with Charity soon. Charity's one-on-one with Dotun was so cute, and I really am starting to warm up to Dotun a lot. I am sad that John left because I really liked him too. There are just so many good guys on this season, and I can't wait to see how Charity's journey for finding love continues to unfold!
